Hi, I’m Ali.

I am a graphic designer currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. I come from a foundation of graphic design experience that has propelled me into a variety of roles in the industry including Art & Creative direction, Event & Navigational design, Illustration & Animation, UX & UI, and occasionally getting my hands properly dirty with model making, stop-motion, printmaking, or any making really.

My philosophy on the creative industry is that I am insanely lucky that I get paid to do what I do, and that I have the best job in the world (for me). That does not mean it’s easy. Creative challenges are equally exciting as they can be taxing, but I try to approach all my work from a place of ingenuity, appreciation for craft, and that there is always a gem of something cool in the toughest of briefs.

OTHER THINGS OF NOTE:

1. I farm on my stupid Brooklyn roof & actually grow food.

2. I own so many comic books & graphic novels. Please talk to me about it.

3. I have two little weirdo cats: Monte & Worf.

4. My favorite place in the world (so far) are the San Juan islands in WA.
